The Phillies & Twins played the final game of 3 game series from Target Field, The Scheduled pitching matchup was Cliff Lee vs. Twins Kevin Correia. Charlie Manuel Keep the same lineup from last night’s game 
 
Twins Pitcher Kevin Correia first pitch Ben Revere was a ball. The first runs of game came in the top of 1st inning when Ryan Howard hits single to right scoring Ben Revere for an early 1-0 lead. The Twins get on the board in the bottom of 7th inning when Justin Morneau doubles to left scoring Joe Mauer & Ryan Doumit for a 2-1 Twins lead. The Phillies would respond in the 8th inning when Michael Young hits single to right scoring Kevin Frandsen to tie the game at 2, and then Jimmy Rollins hits a fielder's choice, scoring Ben Revere for a 3-2 Phillies lead. Mike Adams comes in for a 1-2-3 8th inning, then Jonathan Papelbon comes in for a 1-2-3 9th inning & gets a save, Phillies beat twins 3-2 and at the same time end their 5 game losing streak. Cliff Lee was dominant again going 7 innings, 3 hits, 2 runs, 6 strikeouts on 101 pitches, Twins Kevin Correia went 5 innings, 8 hits, 1 run, 6 strikeouts on 112 pitches. The Phillies now head to Colorado for a 3 game series which starts on Friday at 8:40 PM , Phillies send Kyle Kendrick against Rockies Juan Nicasio
