Eddie's show features the best hard rock and heavy metal from artists including Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Judas Priest, and will often feature interviews with some of rock’s greatest musicians.

Eddie Trunk is a lifelong NJ resident who started his radio career right out of high school at local Jersey station WDHA. Trunk spent 1984-1994 at that station, and among his many accomplishments, launched one of the first ever specialty shows focusing on hard rock & heavy metal music.

Trunk left DHA in 1994 for Q104.3, where he worked his first tour of duty at the Q and in the NYC market. Over the four years at Q104.3, Eddie did every shift at Q104.3, a variety of formats, and hosted AM drive for a brief time. In 1998 Eddie moved to crosstown WNEW, where he also worked a variety of formats and shifts on air. It was at NEW that Eddie once again did a specialty hard rock show. Saturday Night Rocks was launched, and a couple years later, due to popular demand, Friday Night Rocks followed. The programs attracted a huge following, and soon after became nationally syndicated by X Radio Networks.

Eddie returned to Q104.3 in February of 2003, bringing his unique brand of radio and loyal audience. Friday Night Rocks airs every Friday from 11-2 on Q104.3, and now can be heard right HERE on 95.1 WZZO!
 
In addition, Eddie is seen everyday as a full time national TV personality/host on VH1 Classic. His other music experience includes working in record retail, as a VP of Megaforce Records in the late 80's, and a freelance music journalist. Favorite bands: It all started with a band called The Raspberries, then Kiss, then way to many to mention!
